2. Collection & Use of Personal Data When Visiting the Website
2.1 Server Log Files (technically necessary)
When you visit our website industry-ai-engineering, the following data is automatically collected and stored in so-called server log files:

2.3 Analytics Tools & Reach Measurement
We use privacy-friendly analytics tools without capturing personal data, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – depending on configuration.
3. Contact Form, Email Contact & Live Chat / AI Chatbot
When you contact us via contact form, email, messenger or our AI chatbot, we store the data you provide (name, email, message, phone number if applicable, IP address).
Legal basis:
- Pre-contractual measures / contract performance → Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
- Legitimate interest (responding to inquiries) → Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
Storage period: Until the inquiry is resolved + max. 12 months (unless statutory retention obligations apply).
Note on AI Chatbots: Our AI chatbot processes your inputs to provide you with the best possible answers. Depending on configuration, chats are stored temporarily (max. 30 days) to improve quality or prevent abuse. We do not use personal data for subsequent training of external models unless you give us explicit separate consent.
4. AI-Specific Information (AI Act & GDPR)
We develop and operate AI-based services (e.g., generative AI, text & image generation, assistance tools). We adhere to the following principles:
- Personal data is not used without your explicit consent for training or fine-tuning base models.
- Inputs to our AI services are – unless explicitly agreed otherwise – not permanently stored and not passed to third-party models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) for model improvement.
- We exclusively use EU or GDPR-compliant infrastructure and processors (EU cloud, DPA concluded).
- When using medium-risk systems (generative AI), we comply with the transparency obligations under Art. 50-53 AI Act.
5. Data Disclosure
We only transfer your personal data to third parties,
- if you have given explicit consent,
- to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measure,
- due to legal obligation,
- to protect legitimate interests (e.g., hosting, email delivery, payment providers).
We currently use the following processors:
- Hosting provider (EU servers)
- Email service provider
- Cloud services (German/EU data centers)
6. Your Rights
You have the right at any time to:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Object (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR) – without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out until withdrawal
